Play Date With The Whites

After a couple attempts, we were finally able to meet for a play date with The Whites. It only took us only 7 months!
Isaac got to meet Finley, who is 6 days his elder, and they quickly became friends. They shared toys, ate solids together, and even had a little bit of time for some 6.5-month-old baby rough-housing. Finley’s secret weapon was his ability to lead with his hard head, and Isaac’s secret weapon was the ability to crawl away from said head. It is as adorable as it sounds.
Below is a picture of the two buddies.

Isaac was so excited to finally meet his baby cousin, Brandon. He’s been waiting very patiently and as soon as Brandon was born, we went to visit him together at the hospital. Below are a few pictures from the visit:
Facebook Updates

Here’s a round-up of some Facebook updates I haven’t posted on the blog yet:
2-29-2013: Rough morning. Of course, Isaac had to learn how to tip over his toy box today, too.

3-5-2013: We “baby-proofed” the entertainment center by blocking the receiver with Isaac’s Nap Nanny. It didn’t take him long to learn to climb over it.
3-5-2013: Also, look who can sit up on his own.

3-6-2013: So this box has provided 30 minutes of fun, which is equivalent to 4hrs in grown-up time.
3-6-2013: Here is the tantrum that followed after Mama took the box away because Isaac kept trying to chew on it.

3-7-2013: For crying out loud, you’re only 6 months old! How are you doing that already?
3-7-2013: “Heard Gabe’s mama, Bri, say he’s a big fan of this Dr. Seuss guy and I thought I’d check him out. I never realized there were so many different fishes!”
Like A Boss

Yesterday, Isaac went to the farmer’s market in Foster City for the second time. This time was notable, however, for two reasons. The first is that Uncle Jon and Cousin Zoe joined us! The second is that Isaac rode in his stroller like a big boy for the first time! Normally we have him in his carrier, which clips into the car seat or the stroller. This time, he sat up all on his own like, as a few people on Facebook pointed out, a boss!

PS – If you want to hear a funny song called “Like A Boss”, here’s the link. You may not want to watch it in front of the children though, contains adult material.
